Incorrigible mischief-maker Pedro taunts and teases girls with his pet toad, hoping to get an “ew” or two out of them in this vibrantly illustrated twist on the classic fairy tale. While most of the girls squeal and squirm when faced with the slimy toad, one little girl finds her Prince Charming in the amphibian and when the girl kisses the toad, they live happily ever after—but not as one might expect.
